Local journalism is under attack.
LA Weekly, the largest alternative newspaper in the country, was bought and gutted last year by a company that has nothing but contempt for the city and its people.
Under this new ownership, LA Weekly has become fraught with surface-level coverage of our richly textured city and no longer represents readers and locals as they have for decades.
It's an unconscionable affront to all of Los Angeles -- and they're hoping you just don't notice.
Our goal is to #BoycottLAWeekly under its current ownership and make it as difficult as possible for them to continue to ruin the paper's good name.
Here's how you can help...
